Transport between Los Angeles Airport terminals

Passengers will have to exit security to get through inter-terminal connections between terminals 1, 2, and 3 and other terminals. Passengers can walk or take the free shuttle buses to reach any terminal but will have to re-clear security. Terminals 4 through 8 connect to other terminals through airside connections, thereby allowing passengers to access other terminals seamlessly and without re-clearing security.

The shuttle buses are courtesy services provided to assist passengers with traveling through terminals for airline connections (A Route). Passengers can use the shuttle buses to transport from Employee Parking lots as well. To use the shuttle service, passengers should locate the LAX shuttle & Airline Connections blue sign on the Lower/Arrivals Level islands in front of every terminal and board the LAX shuttle.

The terminal shuttle service runs through terminals in a clockwise loop every 10-15 minutes and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
