2024 Genesis GV70
View PhotosGenesisPrice: $46,095
True luxury doesn't have to cost big money. The Genesis GV70 is a prime example, defining itself as a segment best in the luxury crossover scene with high-class looks, an excellent cabin, and a pleasant driving experience.
Buyers of the GV70 have two turbocharged engines and an all-electric variant to choose from, all of which add to the experience in different ways. No matter which you choose, you're in for a great time.

2024 Honda CR-V
View PhotoshondaPrice: $30,825
The Honda CR-V is proof you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a premium experience. Honda's flagship crossover drives better than some luxury offerings, and comes complete with a lovely interior perfect for spending lots of time in.
While the base 1.5-liter turbo-four will work for most people, we recommend going for the hybrid trim. It pairs a 2.0-liter inline-four to two electric motors for a combined 204 hp.
Here's what you need to know about the CR-V

2024 Toyota RAV4
View PhotosToyotaPrice: $29,825
While the Toyota RAV4 isn't the most exciting car on sale, there's a reason hundreds of thousands are bought every year. Several reasons, actually.
The RAV4 is dependable, efficient, and affordable to a point where it's become the default choice of vehicle for those looking for transportation they don't have to think twice about. Our favorite trim, the RAV4 Prime, makes over 300 hp thanks to a trick hybrid system.

2024 Kia Telluride
Price: $37,355
Need to transport a lot of people on a budget? It's tough to do better than the Kia Telluride. With three rows and a starting price under $40,000, it's the ultimate budget hauler.
A third row isn't the only thing we love about the Telluride. The cabin is a fantastic place to spend time, and the exterior design isn't half bad either. We also enjoy the standard V-6, which makes nearly 300 hp.

2023 Hyundai Palisade
Price: $37,735
The Hyundai Palisade shares its architecture with the Kia Telluride, so it's no surprise to see them placed so closely together here. The Hyundai sports is own fancy design and interior that we like just as much.
Under the hood is the same 3.8-liter V-6, paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic. Buyers have a choice between front- or all-wheel drive, depending on trim.
Here are all the updates Hyundai made to the Palisade

2024 BMW X7
View PhotosBMWPrice: $82,895
The BMW X7 might be the best all-rounder vehicle on sale right now. It can comfortably sit three rows of people and tow over 7000 pounds. At the same time it handles well and delivers a true luxury cabin experience.
Buyers can choose between a turbocharged inline-six or a twin-turbo V-8. If you're looking to stand out (and carry even more speed), there's also the Alpina XB7, delivering a potent 630 hp from its V-8.

2024 BMW X5
View PhotosBMWPrice: $66,195
BMW is on top of the SUV game right now, and there's no better evidence than the X5. It looks good, handles better than its competitors, and comes included with a bunch of new tech that luxury car buyers desire.
While the 617-hp V-8-powered X5 M is the highlight of the range, don't sleep on the xDrive50e hybrid model. It makes 483 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, and it's capable of going 40 miles purely on electric power.

2024 Genesis GV80
View PhotosGenesisPrice: $58,645
If you're looking for a luxury three-row SUV and don't want to spend an entire year's salary, consider the Genesis GV80. It delivers a true luxury experience for far less money than its competitors, and looks great doing it.
All-wheel drive is standard on the GV80, and buyers have a choice between a 300-hp inline-four or a 375-hp twin-turbo V-6. While the four-cylinder is perfectly fine for everyday use, we still prefer the more powerful six.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5
Price: $42,895
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 might look like a hatchback, but it's bigger than it seems in photos, meaning it competes more directly with crossovers than anything else.
If you're thinking about switching to electric power, it's a wonderful choice, delivering over 300 miles of range per charge alongside funky retro looks and a clean, minimalistic interior. Those searching for thrills in their drive should consider the 641-hp Ioniq 5 N, which comes complete with a drift mode.

2024 Volvo XC90
Price: $57,195
The Volvo XC90 has been around for nearly 10 years now, and in that time, it's always been a smart buy. Awesome looks, acceptable dynamics, and high safety ratings mean the XC90 is a wonderful all-rounder, whether you're commuting to work or transporting family.
We like the Recharge trim the most. It's a plug-in hybrid that makes an impressive 455 hp, enough to launch the three-row SUV to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

2024 Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe is the SUV for families who truly want to do it all. Exceptionally spacious and durable, it can venture off the beaten path or tow over 8000 pounds when properly equipped.
The Tahoe comes standard with three rows, but if you need even more space, there's also its longer brother, the Suburban. We'd only recommend making the jump up if you plan to regularly transport a large amount of people, though.

2024 GMC Yukon
Need something a bit more flashy in your big family SUV? Consider the GMC Yukon instead of the Tahoe. It's virtually the same vehicle underneath, but with a fancier design and higher-quality materials inside.
Like the Tahoe, the Yukon is capable of towing big hauls, and easily fits seven people. The Yukon XL is the Suburban's equivalent, offering the most space possible in GM's SUV lineup.

2024 Porsche Cayenne
Price: $80,850
There's a running joke in the car world that Porsche is no longer a sports car company, but rather an SUV maker who happens to make some sports cars. The Cayenne, introduced in the early 2000s, is the reason.
The big Porsche SUV and its smaller Macan sibling have been responsible for a vast majority of sales for the brand ever since, and for good reason. They're the best-handling cars in their respective segments, and often times just as luxurious as competitors.

2024 Porsche Macan
Price: $62,550
If fun is your ultimate priority, there is no better SUV on sale today than the Porsche Macan. It injects the Porsche ethos into a crossover body, resulting in a vehicle that drives more like a tall, really quick hot hatch than an SUV.
Our favorite trim has got to be the Macan GTS. It adds a handful of performance upgrades to make it drive even better than the S or Turbo models. Thanks to a handful of cosmetic changes, it looks the best, too.

2024 Mazda CX-50
View PhotosMazdaPrice: $31,675
The Mazda CX-50 represents a strong alternative to the Hondas and Toyotas of the world, delivering a more exciting driving experience paired to good looks inside and out.
We suggest springing for the available turbocharged inline-four engine. It ups power to 256 horses, perfectly suitable for the weight and standard all-wheel drive. Of course, the 187-hp naturally aspirated base engine will work just fine for most buyers.

2024 Ford Expedition
If you think a pickup truck might be a good fit for your garage, but need more seats and enclosed storage, there's the Expedition. Based on the F-150's architecture, it puts up solid towing numbers and comes with the latest tech features Ford offers.
Like its General Motors-built competitors, the Ford Expedition also has an even bigger, longer version called the Expedition Max. It's for those who need the most space possible, whether they're moving cargo or people.

2023 Mercedes-Benz G-Class
Price: $141,050
The G-Class is the best thing Mercedes-Benz makes right now. It pairs old-school retro looks to modern underpinnings and a lovely, rugged cabin space.
What makes the G-Class so lovable are the items that can't be expressed via a spec sheet. Whether that's the squared off body shape, the satisfying door latches, or the grumble from the standard V-8, it all comes together to make one of the best SUVs on the market.
There's a baby G-Class in the works

2024 Land Rover Range Rover
View PhotosLand RoverPrice: $108,875
Range Rovers are the Camrys of the rich and powerful. Drive through any ritzy neighborhood, and you'll spot a dozen before you turn the block. That's because it delivers a low-key opulence that's tough to replicate.
The newest Range Rover comes available with straight-six, hybrid, and BMW-sourced V-8 power for 2024. We prefer the top-level 606-hp SV model, as it's the quickest.
